1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on profile.rocks, you agree to these terms. profile.rocks has the right to suspend any account that violates these rules. Check the privacy policy for more information about how your data is handled.

2. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for the content they publish on their profiles. Users must not publish content that is illegal, offensive, or violates the rights of others. profile.rocks is not directed at children under 16.

3. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not use the Platform for any illegal purposes. Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to:

• Intellectual Property Infringement: Posting content you do not own or have rights to.
• Scam or Fraud: Deceiving users for financial gain.
• Phishing: Attempting to steal user credentials or data.
• Impersonation: Falsely claiming to be another person or entity.
• Harassment and Threats: Abusive behavior or targeted harassment.
• Violent Content: Promoting violence or graphic depictions of harm.
• Illegal Goods and Services: Sale of drugs, weapons, or regulated items without permits.
• Self-Harm: Content that encourages or promotes self-injury or suicide.

3. Platform Role and Liability

profile.rocks provides a technical tool for creating profiles. profile.rocks does not endorse and is not responsible for user-generated content.

If you use your profile for business (e.g., as a lawyer, or shop), you are responsible for linking your own Legal Notice and complying with local consumer laws. profile.rocks is not liable for your failure to provide these disclosures.

4. Payments

In the future, Polar.sh will be used as a Merchant of Records for premium subscriptions and payments. You may also agree to their terms if you make purchases in profile.rocks. Refunds are handled according to their policy.

5. Modifications to Terms

profile.rocks reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, profile.rocks will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at profile.rocks's sole discretion. By continuing to access or use profile.rocks's Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
