5. Public profiles and external archiving

Profiles that you choose to make public (or that are public by default) are accessible to anyone on the internet. As a result, their content may be:

profile.rocks does not control these external services and cannot guarantee that content will be removed from them, even if you delete or unpublish the profile later. By publishing a profile, you acknowledge and accept that its content may remain publicly available and archived indefinitely.

profile.rocks strongly recommends setting your profile to private or unlisted if you do not want it to appear in search results or public archives. You remain fully responsible for the content you publish and for any personal data it contains.

6. Data retention

If your account was not active for 6 years, profile.rocks may email you to ask if they want to keep their account. If you do not respond within 30 days, the account will be deleted, along with associated profiles with no other members.

When you delete your account, some data can remain in the profile.rocks systems for up to 15 days.

7. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be notified to registered users.
